PEGGY WOLF

Peggy Wolf. Period.
I've been a fan of this woman's work for some time now. I have one of her prints (above, bottom-left) and each time I walk past it, I find something new I love: her coal black hair, the ombre effect from left to right on the shirt, the stripes, her earrings, the shadow on the right side of her face, the pencil lines within the yellow, the variations in her green eyes . . . shall I continue or stop now? I can't help myself; that black line across the top of the piece makes me weak in the knees.
One of my favorite details in her entire body of work is the grid created by the blue drip lines in the top-left illustration.

So, are you in L-O-V-E looooooooove?
The good great news for those of you who have yet to pick your chin up off the floor: Peggy Wolf's artwork is affordable. If you'd like a print (or original) her illustrations are available for purchase in both her big cartel and etsy shops.
